“Global Warming”, “Climate Change”, “Climate Crisis” — which term do you prefer? How about “Global Alarming?” That’s my personal favorite.
Okay, Global Alarming is just a term I made up. (Don’t worry, made up stuff happens all the time with global warming.) It’s my term for the wailing and gnashing of teeth by the mainstream media as they barrage us with warnings of the dire future that surely awaits if we don’t act to stop the global warming crisis now. It is an irresistible cause célèbre taken up by all manner of public luminaries as they charitably look out for we unwashed masses. Surely it is their duty to coerce, eh, I mean lead us to do the right thing.
